I’m permanently getting irritating emails, despite I’ve turned it off in my account setting. Could you stop it!

I was impersonating you to see your subscription options and replied while impersonating.
How often are you getting the emails?
It looks like you are subscribed for weekly digests. On ToadWorld go to the Toad for Oracle forum and along the right side there is a field for “Get daily/weekly digest.” Change the value there to “Do not send a digest.”
If you are getting an email notification for every post let me know and I’ll contact the site admins and see what’s up. Some forums (e.g. Toad for Oracle Beta) have an option to email subscribe to them, but I don’t see it listed for the main Toad for Oracle forum.

You may need to Unjoin the forum. On ToadWorld go to the Toad for Oracle forum and just to the right of the “Toad for Oracle Community” header there is the Join/Unjoin option. Click that to Unjoin and you may be able to continue using the forum manually. Note that if you are using the forum from within Toad application you are automatically joined to the Toad group.

I’ve got the same problem (receiving emails even if it is disabled).
Any hints / tips how to disable unwanted notifications it without deleting my account?
Yeah I noticed this too.
If I create a new thread or respond to an existing thread, suddenly I am subscribed to the whole forum.
After a time I disable this and sometimes it happens again and sometimes not but eventually I get new emails - such as this thread saying to stop sending me emails!

How are you creating threads/replies? Are you using ToadWorld.com or are you using Toad’s in-product forum integration?

I’m using the web interface of ToadWorld.com.
There are a few different problems with Toad World e-mail subscriptions we are looking into.
One problem that should be fixed now is how the link in the automated e-mails you get when subscribed for each forum post behave.
If you click the link at the end of the subscription e-mail from a forum you no longer want to subscribe to that should behave properly now (e.g. “Or Unsubscribe from Toad for Oracle Forum notifications altogether.”). It will now launch the Toad World forum page and display a banner informing you that you are no longer subscribed, and the link on the right of that forum web page (Email Subscribe to Forum / Email Unsubscribe to Forum) will be updated as expected.
Sorry this wasn’t behaving as it should have.
