Hi,
One of our users is suddenly experiencing the following problem. If she starts up Toad for Data Analysts, only a splash screen appears.
Furthermore:
- the window of the program does not appear, even after waiting for about 10 minutes or so
- there is a process called Toad.exe visible in the task manager. Its CPU usage is 0%
- TDA did work on her PC. All of a sudden, it stopped working
- no other users of our company are experiencing this problem
I examined the Event Viewer, but I could not find any error message related to TDA.
The user did not install any programs recently. However, our IT-department distributes (security)-updates automatically so maybe this is resulted in a conflict.
Anyway, does anyone know the cause of this problem? Are there any logfiles that can be examined?
I don’t want to re-master the entire PC, so please help us out!
