Team Coding and AzureDevOps with os authentication/cert based

Hello All,

I would like to integrate team coding with Microsoft Azure DevOps Server. The authentication is OS based and the Team coding only offers username and password. Is there a workaround for this?

Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave, currently there's no workaround.

Is there testing in progress on it? If not can you point me in the direction of the files I can review and test things out on?

Oracle client now allows setting thumbprints so user interaction to pick a cert is no longer required.

Hi Dave,

As far as I know, there are no files you can manipulate on your end to try to get Toad to connect to Azure in this way.

When attempting some proxy through a powershell helper, I was hitting the server but guess not passing the right creds and ended up locking out my domain account because its linked lol.

ok, so I create a PAT but I am a little unsure of Azure DevOps Server Configuration Options. I was reading the team coding doc but it has minimal information for configuration.

I am moving cautiously because its a 45 min drive 1 one to get it unlocked, so instead of the proxy with os authentication I am going to try with username and PAT with toad native settings.

should I use advanced and just set the alternative URL? <== tried but didnt work

it shows no like something.

current settings

it shows no like something.

Are you referring to the confusing Red-X-and-Green-Check icon next to "Team Coding Status Checks"? I think that's just the icon that goes with that text. You'd have a red X below if Toad found a problem.

yeah, that was what i was talking about, but when i click the link it takes me to the below url

https://xxxxxxxxxxx:xxxxx/tfs/DefaultCollection/Services/v1.0/Registration.asmx

And at the output screen on toad it says
Error: TFS GetRegistration Services failed (double clikc for more information)
