The server rejected the specified sender email address


I have been running some scripts in “toad for sql” since more than one year. And I have an email activity in these scripts which notifies me if any error occurs while running the script. Lately it was observed that I do not receive notification email even if the script fails.

I tried to check this manually and I came across this error - "“The server rejected the specified sender email address. The server responded: 530 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated”

From the message it seems like the server settings have been changed and the sender is not configured to send emails through the server. I had contacted our helpdesk and waiting for their reply.

Any information on this would be very useful.

I suppose we have to wait your helpdesk’s reply. It seems to me that this is no Toad issue if your server settings have been changed.
