To 12.8.0.21 sort pick list setting is ignored

Looks like sort pick list alphabetically is ignored in this version

I did a quick test and root level objects are sorted alphabetically as well as table columns. What exactly are you seeing?

I 've this check box unchecked and list is still sorted.

I see objects grouped first by type and then alphabetically within when unchecked. An example statement or screenshot would help. The list is populated using a combination of many queries and parsing passes depending on where in the SQL you’re working and the options you have set. You’ll need to provide some info that lets me know what it is you’re seeing exactly.

I;m sorry Michael, I was not specific enough.

It's about column names in tables and views, I think those when not

sorted alphabetically were sorted by column_id.

See attachment.

Chris
