toad 10 installer ‘upgrade’
When installing, Benchmark Factory kept giving error 1613 and wouldn't install. Skipping it worked fine.

a. Ran the install late yesterday. Got a low level error when it tried to install the data analysts piece. (sorry, didn't screenshot it)
b. Quit the install figuring I'd try again today.
c. Tried again today. Installer showed everything had been installed except the data analysts piece, so I quit the installer.
d. Launched TOAD.exe from Toad10 folder.
e. It asked me for my licensing credentials....stopped trying. I had thought it would transfer the licensing from my prior version, so I was concerned that it thought this was a fresh install. Maybe I should just have faith vis a vis Jeff's comments below, but for those of us who have changed many options from the default install, it would be a royal pain to reconfig Toad from scratch.

Just run the Toad 10 installer to its new folder. When you run Toad 10 for the first time, it will prompt you to migrate your settings.
Once you're happy with 10, you can safely uninstall your older version of Toad.
