TOAD 10
Hi there,
after migrating to TOAD 10.1.1.8 I have problems with editing ORA
package with 2261 lines of code and only one body.
TOAD 10 simply hibernates and I must restart my session to continue. My
ORACLE is 10gR2 and 11gR2.
Any ideas ??
Thanks and best regards!

What do you mean by “ TOAD 10 simply hibernates?” What exactly are
you doing when Toad stops responding? How are you loading the object? From DB,
from file, etc.? Does just loading the object cause Toad to hang or are you
trying to type when this happens? If you are trying to type, is there anything
in particular that you are entering that causes the hang? Do you see an
hourglass cursor to indicate that Toad is doing something?

I am just loading my package in TOAD 10 schema browser from the DB to
see the body. No typing or transfering to editor etc.
No problems with TOAD 9.7.2.5
Regards!

If you right click on a package (any package), is “Format Code”
checked? If so, if you uncheck it, does the problem go away?

Thank you John. The problem is caused by Formater and some errors in
package code.
Thank you and best regards!
