Hello,
We have recently upgrade Oracle from 11.3 to 11.4 and moved to Exadata, prior to the upgrade and move I could see the executing SQL in ‘Current Statement’ in ‘Session Browser’ but after the move and upgrade it is either blank or truncated. Has anyone got any idea why?
Many thanks
Niall
I’m not familiar with those version numbers. As far as I know, Oracle’s database versions went from 11.2 to 12.1. I think your version numbers are for something other than the database.
But to answer you question, no, I have not heard of any blank or truncated values in the Current Statement output. I’d suggest that you turn on Spool SQL (Main menu -> Database -> Spool SQL -> Spool to screen) to capture the queries that Toad is running, and try running them in the Editor yourself. If you get the same result there, then it’s something in the database (or possibly a bad query by Toad), but if you are getting a different result, then Toad is truncating data.
