Unfortunately, I regularly receive the following error message. What can I do about it

The rest of the message will be 120.000 Chars. I'm limited to 32k.
Next time I will consider this post. Many thanks for the quick response

Toad should never behave that badly, but if you change a setting, you will not have this error anymore.

In Toad, please go to options -> General.
Change "Thousand and Decimal Separators" to "Dot-Comma"

I will still fix Toad so that it doesn't crash if it doesn't recognize a number.

Update: This only happens when using Toad without an Oracle client. Toad behaves much better when an Oracle client is in use.
