TOAD crashes with exception code 0xc0000005

We have had problems in the past if OraAccess.XML is present and empty or incorrect.

Since @cantyk brought that to my attention yesterday, I put that file in my tns_admin folder (first the blank one to reproduce the problem, then a valid version of the file just to play with). I've noticed, with a 19c client at least, that if a connection times out due to profile, and a valid version of oraaccess.xml is present, then I get an access violation from one of the Oracle client dll's instead of the ORA-##### for a profile disconnect. I looked at the 2766592.1. Are you using oraaccess.xml exactly as listed there? There are some bad line breaks in the file listing on that MOS doc. Does it work if you fix them?

Specifically, these lines should be part of the line before them:

I can't reproduce the problem but fixing those line breaks would be the first thing I'd try. If that doesn't help, then can you just use Toad in no-client mode?
