Toad Data Studio 2026 R2 Complete Offline Documentation Package

Hello Quest Support,

We are currently evaluating and onboarding users to Toad Data Studio 2026 R2 within our organization.

While reviewing the available documentation, we noticed that the downloadable User Guide PDF appears to contain less information than the online documentation portal. Several topics referenced from the online guide, including provider-specific documentation and related supporting articles, do not appear to be included in the PDF version.

We would like to know if Quest provides a consolidated offline documentation package that contains all Toad Data Studio documentation in a single deliverable.

One specific example is MongoDB. The downloadable User Guide PDF lists MongoDB as a supported NoSQL data source; however, it does not appear to include the detailed MongoDB documentation that is available through the online documentation portal. We observed similar behavior with other Business Intelligence and NoSQL provider topics.

Thank you for raising this and for providing the specific examples.

We reviewed the current Toad Data Studio 2026 R2 documentation and confirmed that the downloadable User Guide PDF does not currently contain all of the content that can be reached through the online documentation portal. In particular, some provider-specific and supporting topics, including the types of Business Intelligence and NoSQL topics you listed, are available as linked online content but are not included in the downloadable User Guide PDF.

At this time, there is no single consolidated offline documentation package that contains all Toad Data Studio documentation and all linked online topics in one deliverable.

We have logged this for review. As part of that work, we will review the documentation set and the alignment between the online and offline versions, including the User Guide and the other downloadable documentation, to determine how the offline documentation can be made more consistent with the online content.

For now, the online documentation portal should be used when the additional provider-specific or linked reference topics are required.
