Toad version 12.7.0.39 32bit
While formatting code in editor (adding some spaces) toad freezes:

This sounds similar to this issue and this issue. Something is chewing up resources and I haven't had a moment to really hammer on it yet looking for the cause. In all of these cases, various results from error dialogs indicating a drawing failure to a complete drawing failure even of the error message and freezing have been observed. In your Toad appdata folder you might find a file named Toad.el. If you have this please send it to me @ michael.staszewskiquest.com. I have a couple of things to tidy up first and then I'll start hitting it looking for the problem.
