I’m new to Toad for Oracle, and I’m finding that whenever I click inside a pair of parentheses, Toad turns them into big black highlighted parentheses with a marching ants type border. Is there a way to turn off this feature?
See the Editor|Behavior tab in Options dialog. Make sure that "PL/SQL" is the selected language and click the "Syntax Highlighting..." button. Select the "()" style and modify the Font Style and Borders properties to your liking.
