Toad not working with oracle 11g 64bit client

Hi All, I have windows 7 64 bit , I have installed oracle 11g 64bit client. Then
I installed toad for oracle 9.0.1.8 on it. But it’s not working and showing toad
support 32 bit client only. Is there any version of toad that supports Oracle 64
bit client or any other suggestion. Please help Deepak

The short answer is simple, Toad is 32 bit and so requires a 32 bit
Oracle client.

The reason why is because Delphi, which Toad is written in, is currently
32 bit. Hence it generates 32 bit applications. Embarcadero have been
promising Delphi 64 bit since Q1 2009. It's not here yet.

It's coming ....... slowly.

You will have to install a 32 bit Oracle client, either full client or
just the instant client to get Toad working.
