can i administer the backup and recovery properties of the database in toad and when yes where?
I would configure the the properties (file_destination, retention policy , autobackup (spfile and controlfile) , etc… in TOAD.
But i can’t find it !

Toad can generate an RMAN script for you from the database browser (templates for those scripts can be configured from the main options window), but that’s about it as far as RMAN goes.
