TOAD vs. Rapid SQL

Dear All,

I am trying to make TOAD a standard to access our Oracle Databases and one of the users mention that TOAD does not have one feature that Rapid SQL has: the ability to display the results from two queries in the grid:

Does TOAD have something like this?

Regards,

George

Other than this, I don't know if you can get two data grids on the same screen.

If you do “execute as script” or f5 then there is an option for each statement to have its own data grid ….

Having been a user and fan of DB Artisan before getting into Toad this was one of the arguments against Toad for me. Granted I found FAR more arguments for using Toad however this was definitely one of those things I could do in DB Artisan really easily.

The execute as script option certainly provides you with multiple data grids but sometimes you just want to run 2 scripts and see the 2 data sets on screen in the same grid without having to flip tabs all the time.

Sounds like a great idea to post on the
Toad Idea pond. Get enough support (i.e. votes) from other users so as to rise to the top - and it could very well get implemented
