We had a botchy de-installation of Toad 11.6, wherein installation directory was deleted first. To correct the problem, we followed some of the manual steps we found elsewhere.
Now, almost everything is uninstalled. However, on running Quest Uninstaller, we still see “Knowledge Expert for PL/SQL” and “Knowledge Expert for Oracle Administration”, which we are unable to uninstall.
Doing a force installation again doesn’t solve the problem. It installs everything except those two, deducting that those two features are already installed!
Please help me with this.
