where do i set the unicode setting in toad
There is no setting. Toad 10 and newer supports Unicode.
To add a little more - you might have to intentionally save files with a Unicode encoding. You’ll see that on the “save as” dialog. You can also set the default encoding from within Toad’s options (just search the options window for “encoding”).
