I want the projects, vertical document tabs, and the object explorer dropdown menu instead of nodes. Will we eventually get these features in Edge?

We currently don't have those features on our roadmap suggesting to add them to our Idea Pond.
What you're looking for already exists in Toad Data Studio with Postgres and MySQL connectors. Trials are currently available for this product.
