When I want to call the popup editor for an empty cell in the grid, a window appears very briefly, but closes again immediately.
If the cell is not empty, the editor appears.
It doesn't matter if I use a double click or the context menu.
Are you on the last record of the dataset? I can reproduce it in that case. If the empty cell is not the last row, it works ok for me.
Workaround: Click on the row prior, double-click to open the popup, then NEXT down to the row you want (or click the row in the main data grid)
