4.5: Max CPU and unresponsive when opening new script

Hi,

I am using SQL NAvigator 4.5 and recently is has started causing 100% CPU usage and completely locking up when pressing Ctrl-M or doing File->New->SQL Script. I have tried leaving it a few minutes but it doesn’t seem to recover.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Actually I think I have fixed this now. I read that corrupted workspaces could cause problems and I found a zero byte workspace file in my install folder. I deleted the file and everything now works again.

Glad to know that you fixed the problem. Otherwise, I would have recommended you to try out later version. (our current GA is 6.0) You can also download 6.1 beta from the beta threads and see if you like the new version better.
