Access violations like that have now happened several times:
Afterwards, TOAD will usually freeze soon.
Is there anything I could do if this happens again that would allow you to analyze the problem?

Hi Peter, can you relate this AV to something specific you were doing in Toad, or does it happen at random times?
An eureka log may probably help.
Hi Andre, unfortunately I do not (yet) know when this happens.
The dialog does not display the EurekaLog, is there a way to get it anyway?
I guess this question should be answered by Toad folks…
Options > General > Application data directory > Open folder. Grab toad.el and send it to us off-line. The call stack may or may not be in that file

Eurekalog will only capture exceptions thrown by Toad's code, not by code coming from external modules.
Even though the AV is coming from QP5 it's likely due to Toad's mishandling of an object being passed to it. If you find some scenario that is causing it let us know.
Thanks,
Michael
