Access violation when closing describe window using Esc

Hi TOAD team,

Toad 14.0.2.559 (32-bit!):
When I want to close a desc window (F4) using the keyboard (Esc) Toad crashes with an access violation but closing it with the mouse works.

Tried it with Toad 13.3: no problem

OK, I think I see what's happening:

It happens when you click on the Script tab, then click some other tab, then hit ESC before the script tab gets a chance to finish loading. I'll have it fixed for next beta.

hmmh, forgot to say that I'm describing packages or functions or such (= no scripts there)...

-> just tried it with tables... it's the same even if I click on the script tab and wait till it's finished loading :wink:

Hm, I'm not seeing that. Please do this:

  1. Make the error happen with a package
  2. when the error appears, click where it says "click here".
  3. in the next dialog, check the "copy to clipboard" box.
  4. paste clipboard contents here.

Ha, sometimes it produces a Windows error message box with no "click here" :wink:

but I managed to produce one:

... upps, no! too big for the 32k message size...

do you need all the modules and processes informations?
