ASM Manager hinkie

Hello All,

I am using TOAD ver 12.11.0.95, Xpert Edition and Oracle 12c databases.

All my DB’s have 2 disk groups, +DATA, +FRA.

When i fire up ASM Manager, highlight DATA, then go to the lower pane and choose “Files, Directories, and Aliases”, nothing shows up.

If i do same with FRA, the lower pane shows all the Directories and files.

Anyone else experiencing the same ???

Did you connect the ASM Manager to the +ASM instance? Sometimes that makes a difference on the data that you in the V$ views.
