Automation designer is not saving the latest progress

Hi all,
I've got some issues in automation designer:

  1. Toad automatically saves/rewrites backup to certain timing but not to the latest.
    The auto-save is probably not working properly. Seems there's no explicit save button for the tasks in automation designer, or do I just miss it?

  2. Not able to remove task in Toad Task scheduler
    I ended up deleting the task through PC Task Scheduler. But why I'm not able to do it anymore in Toad Task scheduler? If I remember correctly, it used to work.

The Toad version I have is 17.0.341.1977.

  1. Please provide more details on how I can reproduce. The Automation Designer should be saving all changes to an action's properties. I ran some simple tests by dropping actions into the Automation Designer in 17.0. I've modified properties and restarted Toad. My edits were retained.

  2. Maybe this is a privileges issue. Do you receive any errors trying to remove the task from Toad? What if you run Toad as administrator. Can you delete tasks from Toad then? I've tried this in 17.0 and it works for me.

Hi Michael,
Thank you for getting back to me.
I tested again and seems it's indeed I forgot to log in as administrator. To remove task in Toad Task scheduler is working now.

However, for the Automation Designer not saving part, can you maybe give some ideas of what should I provide? Since it only happened occasionally, I didn't record a video as a proof.
