Change Log

Hello, I am getting an AV error on the ‘Partitioning’ tab in the descirbe of table:

2.6 Message : Access violation at address 0000000009221B7F in module 'Toad.exe' (offset 55D1B7F). Read of address 0000000000000018.

After F5:

2.6 Message : A component named PartitionsFrame already exists.

Same error when running ‘Filter/Sort’ on the ‘Data’ tab.

Hi,

Thanks for the call stack. It definitely helps, but I can't reproduce this.

Can you give me some steps to reproduce it, starting with a freshly opened schema browser?

Thanks

toad_av_error

If:
Open table -> open ‘Partitioning’ -> get AV error, after that everything seems to be fine
If:
Open a table -> open a non-empty ‘Filter/Sort’ -> get an AV error and get stuck with it

Reset helps, so maybe it's not the common problem

If you can zip up and email me your user files folder from before the reset, I'll try to reproduce it and fix.

it probably now has a name like C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\25.3 beta_bak

You can send to john.dorlon@quest.com.

The problem was in line:
toad.ini->[settings]->'PartitionTypeFilter=0'

Thank you. I can reproduce the problem now. Will have it fixed soon.

It comes from changing the "Display" dropdown from "Partitions and Subpartitions" to just "Partitions"
