I am using Toad for MySQL 8 (8.0.0.296), till MySQL 8.0.17 it worked fine but after I Upgraded MySQL to 8.0.30 it stops working and throw error "Character set 'utf8mb3' is not supported by .Net Framework."
There is already a open ticket in MySQL (https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=107259) It was created in version 3.0.29 but still it is not yet addressed.
What i want to know is is there any other way to connect Toad to the latest MySQL version?
Anybody knows please help me.

Hey Vincent... as you probably already know, Quest hasn't offered or supported Toad for MySQL for quite some time. Quest does offer two products that can connect to MySQL:
- Toad Edge for MySQL (which would appeal to DBA/Dev persona types)
- Toad Data Point (which connects to over 40 different sources and appeals more to data analyst types)
That said, I did a little research, and it appears that you might still be able to use Toad for MySQL if the mySQL connector is upgraded. See this link for more details.
