At this time, the Code Assist doesn’t include standard Oracle datatypes (e.g. INTEGER, VARCHAR2, NUMBER etc.) in this list. It will show existing objects and users etc, whatever is selected in the Code Insight ‘Include’ list, in the Toad Options | Editor | Code Assist screen.
But it would be very helpful to have this auto-complete feature for standard Oracle datatypes too.
By the way, SQL Developer already has it.
