Commercial version 5.5 bugs??

Very nice look and fill. Well done!..BUT!

  1. when quick export to excel,TinyInt values appears to be null in excel

  2. Why there is no documentationsat all on new Automation scripts file type?!

Can you please specify what do you mean by “new Automation scripts file
type”?

Thanks,

Igor.

When opening in Toad 5.5, a script that was created with toad 5.0 the followingcaution appears: you opened a script that was created using a previous versionof Automation…

I didn’t find any documentation about that in the release notes or elsewhere…
toad_new_script.jpeg

In the version of Automation that was included with ToadSS 5.5, some efforts were made to improve Automation scripts backward compatibility. This message is saying what it’s saying. If you continue, some changes will be made to the script that is being attempted to open and after that this altered script won’t open in versions of ToadSS previous to 5.5 anymore. At the same time, the original, unchanged script will be saved to a new location. Go to Help > About and in the About dialog click “Application Data Directory” link. Windows Explorer will open in the data directory of your version of ToadSS. Open an Automation folder and then bak folder. This is the place where initial unchanged scripts are stored.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Igor.

The first issue is a bug. I’ve created a CR for it. Please use export to Excel file as workaround for now.

CR Number

Synopsis
Export: TinyInt values appear to be null when exported to Excel instance
