I may have noticed something similar. I wonder if it depends on whether you’ve got
the cell selected (entire rectangle is colored) or the contents of the cell selected (just the background around the digits is colored)?

Subject: [Toad for Oracle - Discussion Forum] Copying from data grid unreliable
Copying from data grid unreliable
Thread created by DanCJ
Hi
In the latest version of Toad (12.1.0.22) copying from data grids seems to have become very unreliable.
Generally if I want a value from a data grid I’ll click on it and hit ctrl-C. Now it often doesn’t work. The clipboard still has whatever it had before.
Unfortunately it’s hard to test as it seems to be fairly random whether or not it’ll work. I think it’s more likely to fail straight after running the query - and once it’s started working
it carries on working - until it decides to stop working again.
Thanks
Dan
