Hi,
I’m using Toad 12.6 for Oracle to create some Excel reports. For that I’m using the Automation Designer, which works fine when I open the program and start the Automation Designer app manually.
However, if I do that via the command line, the Excel sheets don’t get created. I’ve tested my Automation Designer app by adding a step that opens Microsoft Paint, so that I can see if anything is executed,
and from that I can tell that the App itself is running. I also hear the ribbit-sound when I run Toad / the app from the command line (toad -a “appName”).
So the problem seems to be the combination of command line and Excel file creation, as each of them separately works just fine - but if both are being used together, I run into problems.
How can I resolve this?
Thanks,
Mathias
