Hi,
We use DB2 history tables with TYPE=H, to store all changes / deletes on some of the primary tables. We also use some of the historic data in business logic.
We somtimes need to copy Customer data from PROD to other environments for debugging and R&D.
When using Toad compare data, these tables do not show up. They exist in the Object Browser, I can use them in the Query builder, but not in the Compare Data dialog. Right clicking on the table and choosing "Compare Data" gets the wizard started, but that's as far as I get.
I would appreciate any help I can get.
I suspect that there might be a driver / connectivity issue with these tables as I get a warning error quite often when I query these tables. Sometimes it is "SQL warning 203 ( from module DSNXORSO)", sometimes I get a notice -99999: [IBM] CLI0002W Data truncated. SQLSTATE=01004.
I am using Toad 7.0.3.37 Toad for DB2 z/OS Xpert Edition.
Sincerely,
Shimon J.
