Database error "External component has thrown an exception" when trying to run queries

Have been running TDP 6.0 until last week.
Uninstalled and installed TDP 6.2.0.23226 (64 bit) in an attempt to fix this.
Have been getting this error when trying to run queries on different connections. It is usually followed immediately or soon after by the application freezing and requiring the process to be killed.

I know the obdc and impala drivers are working since I managed to create a connection and run queries using another app. Can even run oracle queries using TFO 16.

I found a file called NGen.txt in the TDP 6.2 folder. It contains many lines from roughly the same time on Friday to the extent of "Could not load file or assembly '{something}.dll' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest.".
There are also a few about duplicated assembly, but I'd assume that's less of an issue.

Has anyone encountered this before? Hopefully at least point me in the right direction?

Hi - I think you may need to open a support ticket on his one (support.quest.com) and we can see if we can get a developer to take a look
