Edit folder name in Favorites does not work in latest beta

Good afternoon TOAD team,

I never tried this until today, therefore it could be the lose nut behind the keyboard.

Create a folder in Favorites and add some tables, but mess up the spelling of the folder name.

right click the misspelled folder name and choose Rename Folder. Nothing happens, you are not editing the folder name.

Hi Larry,

I can reproduce that.

To work around:

  1. Shut down Toad
  2. Edit the file C:\Users\YTOUR_WINDOWS_USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\16.3 beta\User Files\Databases\DATABASE_NAME\SBFavorites.txt with notepad
  3. Look for the old folder name (it should be on its own line. If there are leading spaces or tabs, don't touch those), replace with the new
  4. Save and exit.
  5. Start Toad
