Suddenly I can only open 1 single tab in the Editor, and its name tag had disappeared. Which option should I change, to be able open several tabs again?
we use Toad for Oracle 12.6.0.53,

Are you sure you haven’t just accidentally moved the location of the tabs (left, right or bottom)? I’ve done it before and it took me a while to realise what had happened! See if you can see your tab in one of those other locations and then right-click next to it and choose Position–> Top.

When I open a new query the first query is not visible anymore. How can I look up the other locations for tabs?

Mark is probably correct - the position probably changed - most likely bottom. Your print screen doesn’t show the bottom, so it’s hard to see where it might be. If it’s set to bottom then it will be below the data grid like below. Just r-click > Position > Top.
Found out how to change the tab position and it works[:)]
