Export To Excel

In my older TOAD version, I was able to setup “Export To Excel” such that it always copied the result in a predefined location and to a predefined file name automatically and after the export was complete, it would automatically open the Excel file for me.

I can’t seen to find this option. I found as setup where I can define a fixed folder where I want the export files to be created but unable to find a set up that will allow me to fix a file name and then auto open it once data is exported.

Any help is much appreciated

We do not have this option. Instead we have the One-Click Export tool bar. Here users export to new Excel instance, Existing Excel instance, or Existing instance at focused cell.

There are also many other one-click export types you can explore.
