today is my first time with new TOAD 12.8.4.09. Now when I save a file as excel, it opens as a text not general as in the past. How do I change it back?
should have stated this is Toad for Oracle
after more digging it appears that the top row that has the column names is now “text” not “general” when I export it to excel. This is causing the VB script that I run to fail. I can not find anything to change it back
We upgraded our Excel-writer component to fix some bugs and it looks like this is changed. There is no setting you can change in Toad - but of course you can change the formatting in Excel.
