Farewell my Toady friends and colleagues ....

Evening everyone,

after many happy years of using Oracle and, best of all, Toad, and
having known, helped, been helped and conversed with you all over those
happy years, I am sad to say that I will no longer be able to do so.

It is with sadness in my heart that I bid a fond farewell to everyone
as, from this moment on, I’m on holiday for a fortnight!!!

Sorry, couldn’t resit a little Friday wind-up!

I’ll be out of the office for the next two weeks, sunning (!) myself on
a Sardinian beach, drinking the off shandy or two, eating fine Italian
food, and generally lazing about, reading Oracle manauls and checking my
Toad emails from time to time.

ok, some of the above is not true either, I’d get slightly lynched by
Alison if I even suggested taking Oracle manuals on holiday - but I
might manage the odd email or two.

Oh yes, I won’t be sunning myself either, I’ll most definitely be in the
shade!

I’ve set my out of office but in the past there were no “Norm is out of
the office” emails sent to the list anyway, but just in case, I’d
appreciate it if my account can be disabled - in the event of the list
being spammed by out of office messages.

I think it should be fine.

Anyway, I’ll see (metaphorically) you all on 19th July, bright and
breezy and ready to go. Sort of.

Cheers,
Norm. [TeamT]

You had me going for a minute there!

Have a nice holiday, Norm.

I know, it was a good start wasn't it!

Have a nice holiday, Norm.
Thanks John, I'll certainly try. Once I get there. I consider myself
like a fine wine, I do not travel well!

Regardless of the mode of travel.

Cheers,
Norm. [TeamT]

Ye scurvy devil! Had me worried there!!

Beware the sun reflecting off that Mediterranean Sea. It’ll tan yer hide
nearly as well as the direct rays.

Take it easy, but take it.

Evening Dan,

Ye scurvy devil! Had me worried there!!
It worked, it worked!

I use factor 50 and a welder's helmet and stay out of it as much as I
can. I'm a Jock and as such, I'm supposed to be pale blue!

Take it easy, but take it.
I intend to take it very easy. I only have 10 books with me, so I may be
5 short. I get through one novel a day on holiday.

Cheers,
Norm. [TeamT]

Evening John (it's full of stars!)

Well, I was going to just do my usual, Norm's away, see you soon, but a
little devil inside me told me to make it dramatic! Seems to have worked!

I hope ye have a great time in Fiddlers Green!! Make sure to take many a doubloon,

I hope to have a good time, wherever I'm going (It's north of Olbia
somewhere!) Baja Sardinia, Alison tells me!

Cheers,
Norm. [TeamT]
