In which Version is included the SQL Tracker?

I am curious in which Version is included the SQL Tracker. In an overview from 2021 is it included already in the Base Version: https://www.quest.com/documents/toad-for-oracle-trial-evaluation-matrix-developer-datasheet-149194.pdf

In the overview from 2026 it is included in Xpert Version: https://www.quest.com/documents/quest-toad-for-oracle-subscription-editions-condensed-functional-matrix-datasheet-173485.pdf?utm_source=shop

All Toad versions include SQL Tracker.

I think you misread the document in the 2nd link. I don't see anything about SQL Tracker in there.

By the way, if you want to track the SQL that Toad itself is running, Spool SQL is a much better choice. Main menu -> Database -> Spool SQL. You can send the output to a file or to a window in Toad.

Advantages of Spool SQL when tracking Toad itself are:

  1. Easier to set up (just select it from the main menu)
  2. It records more information
  3. It will record Toad's SQL when Toad is in no-client mode. SQL Tracker will not track Toad in this case.

SQL Tracker's value is in recording SQL from other apps which use the Oracle client.
