Little improvements when generating statements

Hi all,

when I filter a table for some criteria, right click into data panel and chose "export dataset", I have the possibility to generate insert or merge statements. Two improvemnts would be nice for the generated statements:

  1. Leave all virtual columns - insert / update is not possible.
  2. Offer an option to diable all triggers before / enable all triggers after insert / merge. The same could be done for the constraints.

With the "data --> copy to another schema" feature improvement 1 already works and improvement 2 is already there.

No hurry... Would be nice when tere is time to do that. No think of the weekend and the after work beer :wink:

Hi Rainer:

#1 is possible already. Click "Columns to exclude". One of the choices is "Virtual Cols".

#2 Not a bad idea, but @ButtonPusher will be annoyed. :smiley: That "Export Dataset" window is so crowded already. He won't want me to add anything to it. I do see a little room for 2 more checkboxes though.

#2 No high priority... Weekend and after-work beer are much more important at the moment :wink:
