Hi all,
when I double click on a BLOB field in a data grid and then click on the "save to file and open" icon, I get a dialogue where I can enter a file name, the file type is already pre-defined e.g. as PDF. When the BLOB is stored into a file, the ending (PDF) is missing.

Thanks Rainer. I can reproduce this and have logged it in our bug tracking system.
And to be diligent, the Save to File, and Save to File and Open tool bars within the BLOB viewing panel also have the same issue as reported here...
