Hi Holly,
I fired up Toad v12 64-bit on my Dell Latitude E6430 (i7), running Win7 Pro – so pretty similar, but I have a Logitech MX Anywhere with the MS default drivers (I don’t like the Logitech ones).
My Editor even has the performance-grabbing Code Analysis turned on, but I’m not seeing my mouse slow down.
Are you seeing your mouse pointer go slow? Is it on highlighting/copy/paste or just moving the mouse pointer around? How big is the file you’re editing? How much RAM do you have and how much
is available?
While this is happening, if you could fire up Task Manager and go to its Processes tab and click on the CPU column header to sort by that, maybe we’ll see something that’s soaking up your CPU.
There used to be a performance-checker it Toad, but I can’t seem to locate it, ATM…
Let us know!
Rich
