I have a larga Oracle Database when TDA opens the first time takes up to 30 seconds to open Object Details (f4).
I used to work in TOAD for Oracle an it doesn’t have this problem.

Toad for Oracle does not preselect a table when opening up the Schema Browser. We are selecting a table and gathering the corresponding right hand details for the first table when we open so you will notice a lag. Once this is done the information is cached for that session and you will not have this issue.
