Using Toad for Oracle 24.2.275.4664
I use the Object Palette and make the columns list taller, but every time I restart Toad the height of the columns window has been re-set to a "short" value that only shows a few columns without scrolling.
If I look at the Toad.ini file I can see that after I reset the height a new value is saved for ColsHeight= in the [Object Palette] section. But when I restart Toad it is as if that value is being ignored and the columns window is short again.
Closing Toad at that point resets ColsHeight=148 in the ini file.
How can I get my saved height to "stick"?
Looks like a bug. It should just work. I'll have it fixed for the beta to be released on Monday around 8AM CST, which you can get here.
Gave it a try and there was no change in behaviour. May be me being too eager I've got Beta version 25.2.51.4947.
I'll give it another go tomorrow.

It does retain the height if I simply close and re-open the palette window. It just doesn't save it between sessions with Toad
Thanks. I see that if I run Toad maximized. If I run Toad not maximized, the columns panel retains its size.
I'll take another look at it.
