Is there an option to change the behavior such that the current schema is defaulted as the search schema, and all other schemas are unchecked? Seems like it used to work this way, and changed recently.

It looks like the window just remembers your last schema selection. I don’t think this is anything new. You probably know this, but just in case….you can
rt-click to uncheck all.

Thanks for the response. I know you guy’s are only taking on fixes for the Beta at the moment, but I would like to suggest an option to make the default behaviour to always default to the logged in schema, instead of remebering the last schema selection Can you take this on in the next release, or should I post it on Idea Pond?

A rt-click “Logon schema only” in the schema selection box might be nice, but that would only save one click.
Looking at it a little more, I see that it is not just the schema that is remembered, it is the entire search action. I’d think that remembering just part
of it (everything except the schema) might seem like a bug to some. Would it be better to remember nothing? I don’t know. What would the default values be for the other items on the screen? Search everything? That might get a little irritating as it
would result in longer searches and potentially more results than you want. Search nothing? Then you’d have to check what you want to search every time. Also seems a little irritating.
I am definitely willing to take on some kind of change here for 12.1 once we are pretty sure we have a good solution. Maybe it is as simple as just an option
to always default to the logon schema, despite the last paragraph.

Your last statement was exactly what I was looking for. Keep it simple, just leave all the values exactly as they are, but change it to default to the current logon schema.
