@AndyScott and @sguzzetti - This issue will be resolved in the next release of Toad for Oracle.
In the meantime there are a few workarounds you can do:
- Choose a font that isn't susceptible to the issue. See John's table here.
- Check the Enable font ligatures option on the Editor | Display page in Toad Options. This may make Editor text a little less sharp.
- Change the DPI awareness mode for Toad.exe. See this post for details. This method has mixed results for us internally. You will know immediately if it will work for you as some UI elements may have incorrect scaling if your environment/options are conflicting.
- Use 100% scaling in Windows
