Hello

Does anyone know if Toad can be configured to work with Oracle Advanced Security?

If so, can you point us in the direction of doing so.

We are looking at having DBA’s use smart card (CAC) authentication to connect to 12c and 11g databases.

Short answer is “I don’t know”

Longer, more hopeful answer is “Toad connects to Oracle through the OCI, the same way SQLPlus connects. So, if you’ll be able to connect through SQLPlus, it should work in Toad too. Are these users set up with ‘identified externally’ or ‘identified globally’? If so, Toad supports those.”
