I’m trying to schedule an Email task in the Automation Designer. When the scheduled time is reached, it seems that it triggers the task, but it just hangs. When I check in the Windows Task Scheduler, the status of this task is “Running”, and it just stays like that forever. I then have to manually end it. When I run the task manually, it works ok. I’m using Toad for Oracle version 12.8.0.49. Please advise.
What user are you trying to run the email task as? Tasks can’t be scheduled from the SYSTEM user at this time.
I’m running it as my own domain user, which is the one I’m logged on Windows as. Again, when I run the task manually, it works fine. The problem only happen when I schedule it.
