Put automatically attribute collation on existing table

Hi!

I want to put "SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS" as attribute collation value on my existing model.

I already put it on Settings > Default Value > Entities > Attributes > Collate

but after TDM restart, all the existing attributes still don't have the collation value.

Is there any other way to be able put the collation value on the existing model?

Hello,
the collation and other default values set in Settings | Default Values... are applied only to newly created attributes/objects.
The most easier or fastest way how to set the collation to existing attributes is via macro or simple script. We can help you with it if you are interested.

Thank you for your response.
I already done it, I done "update model from database", then, I only select the collation attribute value, then merge it.
Because I already has the database. So, I done it like that.
But I think it will be better if TDM provide some tools like Tools > Schema/Owner Assignment.

Thank you for letting us know. Of course, updating the model from the database is another way how to do it.
The idea of some tools like this sounds good. Please add it to the Idea Pond.
