We are getting the following error while Reverse Engineering Oracle 10g database

Source: CS3 - Internal error
Script: REDataMigratorDBOR
Description: Invalid number or type of parameters!
Member :.
Row: 860
Column: 9

Callstack:

Default options for reverse engineering are selected (no change).

Hello Yew,

Please write us:

  1. what TDM version you use,
  2. what connection methods you tried. Was the result the same for all of them?
  3. In which step in the RE Wizard does the problem occur? (in step Options?)
  4. Are there any messages in the Log area? If so, could you please send it to us? (At least the last messages before the process is interrupted. Thanks.)

  2. Native client connection
  3. Just after options (see attached)
  4. I am not too sure, I need to check

Here I’m with an update.

Current workaround is:

Please do not load synonyms. The problem shouldn’t occur then.

I am using TDM 3.4.16.7 in a Oracle 9i environemnt to reverse engineer.

I am getting the following error

Hello Rahu,

We have verified the problem and unfortunately keep failing to simulate it.

You write the error is:
Source: CS3 - Internal error
Script: REDataMigratorDBOR
Description: Invalid number or type of parameters!
Member :.
Row: 860
Column: 9

Is this really the error you get - including the row number? We verified it and didn’t find anything on the row 860 that might have caused the error.
Please confirm us the row number.

Also, you can try to uninstall your TDM version and install it again. Does the problem still occur?

Additional question: Do you use any user packages for reversing your Oracle db?
